Located on the way to Cave Falls is the road to Sheep Falls. This is a pleasant ride through the forest with little technical terrain to maneuver. In fact, for you adrenaline junkies, this probably isn't the ride for you, but for those who enjoy a beautiful ride through the best nature has to offer, this is an excellent ride..

To get there, just drive north on US-20 to Ashton and hang a right on the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway.

A few miles down the road you will turn right onto the Cave Falls Highway.

Keep driving until the road turns into a gravel road. You can drive all the way to the trailhead, or you can park anyplace off the gravel road and ride the rest of the way. Either way, there is a sign at the turnoff showing 4 miles to Sheep Falls.

There are plenty of ATV trails, jeep trails, and gravel roads in the area, but watch for other vehicles.
